About Sandra

Hello! Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me.

I am a seasoned educational leader and lifelong learner. I have committed my professional life to the field of education. All 28 years so far!

My work is defined by a commitment to learning-centered practices that help people develop and leverage their learning superpowers. As a teacher, employer, leader, or coach, I apply the science of learning and use design practices such as competency-based and personalized learning, project and problem-based learning, and experiential learning because they value people at the heart of it all.

In 2022, I accepted a new challenge with a software company, where I led initiatives to design learning platforms and AI-driven models that create more engaging and effective learning experiences. This experience fueled my passion for AI as a transformative tool in education, ultimately leading me to launch my own business.

My approach to coaching educators and L&D professionals involves building on strengths, improving reflective dialogue, and creating dynamic, learner-centric spaces.

Together, we tackle prevalent issues in traditional learning systems and work to improve accessibility and equity for learners.

I have taught thousands of students in diverse teaching roles spanning from preschool to doctoral classes. In those roles, I consistently pioneered innovative methodologies and technologies focused on learner needs.

Studying and applying learning science has been a passion for me in the last decade. I am fascinated by how learning works. In 2023, I earned a certificate from MIT in Machine Learning and Data Science - so, basically, I learned how to teach machines!

We are made to learn!  The impact I want to make is to inspire learning and rekindle joy in the process.

When coaching leaders and teams, I take a human-centered approach and work to determine and implement collective solutions that promote transformation.

The first system I address is the human one. I believe there is nothing a healthy team can't do! From there, we can tackle system improvements and have a collective impact on learning.

Some of my favorite learners and team players!
